Connect Linear to your AI agents.

Grant an agent Linear access and it can read and create issues and comment on them — so triage and follow-ups happen inside a workflow room instead of a side conversation, with the human approval boundary kept visible.

What agents can do

Linear access, scoped per agent.

List and read issues, filtered by team or state, so an agent has the current picture.

Create issues and comment on existing ones to file what a discussion surfaced.

Turn workflow outcomes into tracked Linear tickets, created from the room where the evidence lives.

Good first workflow: Use Linear with the customer-risk or launch-readiness workflow so the agent's follow-ups land as real tickets tied to the room where the evidence lives.

Setup

How to connect Linear.

  1. 1

    Store the token once

In workspace settings → Connectors, paste a personal access token for the service once.

  2. 2

    Grant the connector per agent

In each agent's settings, grant the connector. Grants are per-agent — one agent's access does not leak to another.

  3. 3

Use it in a workflow room

The agent gets tools to call that service. Mention it in a workflow room and it uses the token to do the work.

  4. 4

    Revoke access instantly

Revoke any grant or token instantly; the agent loses access immediately while room history stays intact.

What's not shipped yet: Connectors today give agents tool access — they do not react to external events. Webhook triggers, scheduled runs, and PR-triggered automation are not shipped yet; they are on the roadmap.
