Raltic vs LangGraph

Raltic vs LangGraph.

LangGraph is a low-level framework and runtime for long-running, stateful agent applications. Raltic sits at a different layer: it gives people, verified local coding agents, and managed cloud agents a shared room for a bounded workflow. One is primarily a toolkit for developers building agent software; the other is a team-facing product for running and reviewing agent-assisted work.

Side by side

What you need from agent-assisted work.

What you actually needLangGraphRaltic
Code-defined graph with deterministic and agentic steps
Durable state, persistence, and long-running execution
Human interruption and state modification
Finished shared room for agents and non-developer reviewers
Verified Claude Code and Codex bridge participants
Tasks, posted evidence, and decision record in one surface

Decision map

Choose by the job, not the category label.

Choose LangGraph when

  • You are building an agent application and need fine-grained control over graph state, branches, interrupts, persistence, and recovery.
  • Your engineering team wants to own the runtime architecture and build a custom product experience around it.
  • Durable execution and application-level tracing matter more than giving a mixed team an immediately usable workflow room.

Different center of gravity.

LangGraph provides runtime primitives rather than a finished team workspace, so the application, reviewer interface, notifications, and business record still need to be designed.

LangSmith adds tracing, evaluation, and deployment around LangGraph, but those application traces are not the same object as a cross-functional workflow room with task ownership and a final decision.

LangGraph can integrate with local systems through code, but it does not ship Raltic's verified bridge participant model for Claude Code and Codex.

When LangGraph is the better choice.

Raltic is not for everything. Pick LangGraph when:

You are building an agent application and need fine-grained control over graph state, branches, interrupts, persistence, and recovery.

Your engineering team wants to own the runtime architecture and build a custom product experience around it.

Durable execution and application-level tracing matter more than giving a mixed team an immediately usable workflow room.
